My subject is civil engineering, and for 22 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Los Angeles College.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
What gifts mean to Fernando: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
