Fernando Cortés
Retired home economics teacher from Beacon High School
- 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
- Beacon High School
- 1985 to 2002
- Spanish
I taught home economics at Beacon High School in Zapopan from 1985 to 2002. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Fernando
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

I'm a nurse now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Mangaluru.
