I coached boxing at Buffalo Football Club from 1979 to 2002. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
