I've coached swimming at Petrópolis Sports Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
What gifts mean to Fernanda: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
