I coached volleyball at San Nicolás de los Garza Swimming Club from 1994 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
