Fernanda S. Cabrera
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇸 Girona, Catalonia, Spain
- Old Girona Repairs
- Since 2009
- Spanish
I've worked in shoemaking since 2009. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 340 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Fernanda: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2018 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Oakland.
