I've volunteered with Duque de Caxias Neighborhood Trust since 1981. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 26 people now. Everyone brings something.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Fernanda
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Fernanda: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
