I taught physics at Maple Ridge Secondary School in Oaxaca de Juárez from 2013 to 2023. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Fernanda
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
