I've coached basketball at Ribeirão Preto Athletic Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You coached me in 2013. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Kolkata.
