Fernanda Castillo
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Little Good Shepherd Workshop
- Since 2015
- English, Spanish
I've worked in upholstery since 2015. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 430 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
More about Fernanda
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Fernanda: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
