I teach art at Pioneer Primary School in Ciudad de México since 1981. Most days I teach first-year students, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Fernanda
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
