Fergal J. MacNamara
Coached hockey for 39 years in Dublin
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Dublin Community Club
- Since 1987
- English
I've coached hockey at Dublin Community Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Fergal
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Fergal: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy. Greetings from Eindhoven.
