For eight years I was the geography teacher at Amsterdam Academy. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Femke: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
