Femi Tunde Idowu
Athletics coach, Lagos Youth Club
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria

For eleven years I ran the athletics program at Lagos Youth Club in Lagos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Femi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
