Favour Temitope Nwankwo
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- The Benin City Works
- Since 1983
- English, Yoruba
I've worked in tiling since 1983. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,630 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 14 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Favour: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
