I spent 14 years as a lecturer in nursing at Dar es Salaam University in Dar es Salaam. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Fatuma: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
