Fatuma Jepkoech Mutebi
Early years teacher at Thika Grammar School, 1986 to 2019
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Grammar School
- 1986 to 2019
- English
I taught early years at Thika Grammar School in Thika from 1986 to 2019. Most days I taught teenagers, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 690 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Fatuma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
