Fatuma Faith Kiptoo
Self-taught printmaking artist
- 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
- Stonebridge Print Workshop
- Since 1993
- English, Swahili
I got into printmaking as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Stonebridge Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
More about Fatuma
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Fatuma: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
