Fatima Sadia Ali
Retired marine biology lecturer
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Trinity Polytechnic
- 1979 to 1999
- English, Urdu
My subject is marine biology, and for 20 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Trinity Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Fatima
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Fatima: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
