I play saxophone and guitar. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Fatima
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Fatima: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
