I taught French at Ibadan High School in Ibadan from 2011 to 2025. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Fatima
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Fatima: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
