I taught French at Sakura Girls' School in Islamabad from 2001 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
