Fatima Jamila Yassin
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇪🇬 Mansoura, Dakahlia, Egypt
- Mansoura Westbrook Sports Club
- Since 2008
- English, Arabic
For 18 years I've run the swimming program at Mansoura Westbrook Sports Club in Mansoura. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Fatima
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Fatima: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
