Fatima Baig
Tabla player and teacher in Faisalabad
- 🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan
- Faisalabad Baobab Orchestra
- 1997 to 2018
- English
I've played tabla from 1997 to 2018, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
More about Fatima
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Fatima: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
