Fasil Lemma Alemu

17 years teaching religious studies in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa High School
  • Since 2011
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Fasil

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Fasil: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
