Faruk Tuhin Majumder
History and economics teacher, Narayanganj
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Narayanganj Boys' School
- 1997 to 2013
- English
I taught history at Narayanganj Boys' School in Narayanganj from 1997 to 2013. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Faruk
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Faruk: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2015. You believed I could do it before I did Greetings from Manchester.

You taught me history in 2022 at Narayanganj Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
