Faruk Sikder
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Shop
- 2007 to 2024
- English, Bengali
I've worked in carpentry from 2007 to 2024. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 530 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Faruk
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Faruk: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
