Faruk Rashed Bhuiyan
Librarian at Good Shepherd Reading Room
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Good Shepherd Reading Room
- Since 1979
- English, Bengali
For 47 years I look after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Good Shepherd Reading Room.
I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. A library should feel like a living room.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Faruk
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Faruk: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
