For 14 years I was the chemistry teacher at Bayview Boys' School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Faruk
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
