Farhana Tithi Das
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- 1986 to 2009
- English, Bengali
For 23 years I ran the wrestling program at Bamboo Youth Club in Dhaka. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Farhana
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Farhana: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
