Farhana Mousumi Kabir
Taught economics at Pune Academy
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Pune Academy
- 1980 to 2013
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,980 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Farhana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Farhana: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
