I taught history at Karachi Boys' School in Karachi from 1992 to 2007. Most days I taught primary school children, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 630 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Farhan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
