I've been a nurse for 35 years, most of them in pediatrics at Hyderabad General Hospital in Hyderabad. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
