Farah Shaista Bhatti
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan
- Little Quetta Workshop
- 1989 to 2008
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1989 to 2008. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 910 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Farah
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Farah: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
