Farah Mona Kassem
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇸🇦 Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
- Mecca Repairs
- Since 1981
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Mecca and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Farah: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
