Farah Malak Kassem
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- The Cairo Trades Guild
- Since 2017
- English, Arabic
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Cairo, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
More about Farah
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Farah: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
