I taught social studies at Ashford Public School in Cairo from 1990 to 2024. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Farah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Farah: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
