Fani Fani Nugroho

Biology and early years teacher, Yogyakarta

🇮🇩 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Mount Pleasant Secondary School
Since 1981
English, Spanish

I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Fani

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
