Fajar Heru Effendi
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- The Baobab Works
- 2010 to 2024
- English, Indonesian
I'm a upholstery specialist. If you live around Surabaya, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Fajar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Fajar: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
