Fajar Dwi Nugroho
Coached hockey for 22 years in Yogyakarta
- 🇮🇩 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
- 1991 to 2013
- English
For 22 years I ran the hockey program at Yogyakarta Youth Club in Yogyakarta. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Fajar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Fajar: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
