I've volunteered with Bekasi Community Kitchen from 1994 to 2010. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 32 people now. Everyone brings something.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Fajar
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Fajar: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
