Faisal Osama Naguib
Professor of anthropology, Cairo University

I taught anthropology at Cairo University from 1981 to 2017, and supervised 30 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
