I taught chemistry at Harbor Academy in Alexandria from 2002 to 2016. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Fadi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
