I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
