I've coached chess at Hamilton Fairview Swimming Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Ezra
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Ezra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
