Eyob Tesfaye Assefa
Coached hockey for 21 years in Gondar
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Silverlake Youth Club
- Since 2005
- English, Amharic
For 21 years I've run the hockey program at Silverlake Youth Club in Gondar. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Eyob
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Eyob: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
