Eyob Lemma Mekonnen
Classical player and teacher in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Quartet
- 1985 to 2000
- English
I've played classical from 1985 to 2000, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Eyob
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Eyob: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
