I taught home economics at Addis Ababa Technical College in Addis Ababa from 2007 to 2025. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Eyob
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Eyob: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
