Eyob Amanuel Lemma
Geography and mathematics teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Eastgate Middle School
- Since 2013
- English, Amharic
I teach geography at Eastgate Middle School in Addis Ababa since 2013. Most days I teach primary school children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've run the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Eyob
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Eyob: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
