Everly P. Garrett
Coached chess for 34 years in San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Phoenix Swimming Club
- Since 1992
- English
For 34 years I've run the chess program at Phoenix Swimming Club in San Diego. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
